Mwarigha M.S.

Mwarigha M.S. is the Vice President for Housing, Homelessness, Asset Sustainability & New Development at WoodGreen Community Services since 2017. He previously served as General Manager at Peel Housing Corporation from 2010 to 2016. He is a thought leader in executive housing leadership and human development with over 20 years of experience in the affordable housing sector. Mwarigha is a member of the League of Innovators & Scholars at the Brookfield Sustainability Institute’s (BSI). His current focus is on pioneering the development of affordable housing for underserved groups and collaborating in strategic affordable housing partnerships with private sector developers. Mwarigha has a Master's degree in Urban Planning from both Zimbabwe and Windsor and has participated in executive international learning/exchange opportunities in Canada and overseas. Additionally, he has completed executive educational certificate courses in Financial Stewardship and in Strategic Planning Frameworks from Harvard University and received on-going private media and communications training.
